Bell & Evans Chicken Meatloaf takes the work out of making meatloaf, so you can bring the classic, homestyle comfort of this hearty meal to your family’s table on even your busiest nights. Just mix up the sweet and tangy ketchup glaze, and it’s ready to pop in the oven, straight from the package. Mashed potatoes and a green vegetable make the perfect sides.
Ingredients
- 1 Pkg Bell & Evans Chicken Meatloaf
- 3/4 Cup Ketchup
- 2 1/2 TB Brown sugar
- 1 1/2 TB White vinegar
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F with a rack in the center position. Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment. Remove the meatloaf from its packaging and place in prepared dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Spread glaze thickly on top of meatloaf.
- Bake for 40 minutes, until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 165° with an accurate meat thermometer.
- Remove meatloaf from oven, allow to cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
This recipe is so easy and tastes delicious that my husband made it! He made 2 of meatloaves and put them in bread loaf pans, one with and one without the glaze. I liked the one with the glaze, he liked the one without. The only thing I would do differently is NOT cover the meatloaf with aluminum foil to bake. You really don’t need to. Thanks for the awesome recipe, chef!
