Bell & Evans has committed to an AIR CHILL expansion project that will enable the company to supply fresh, air chilled, antibiotic free Bell & Evans chicken by the summer of 2005.
The air chill project will be a new, state of the art facility that includes the latest technology from Europe. It will feature a SINGLE LEVEL chilling line to eliminate any possibility of cross contamination.
Reducing bacteria counts will be a goal for all Bell & Evans fresh air chilled chicken. The system will be uniquely able to accomplish this since the single level chilling line will not have birds on multi-levels cross contaminating each other.
Construction of a new 65,000 sq. ft. building addition begins this summer and by spring of 2004 will be installing the newest evisceration equipment. Since this is a major financial undertaking for a small company such as ours, we intend to start installing air chilling & cutup equipment in spring 2005, just in time for the summer 2005 chicken selling season. After this is accomplished we will also be able to offer air chilled, TRAY PACK, fresh and I.Q.F. bagged and boxed Bell & Evans chicken to you.
Bell & Evans is committed to this major expansion so that it can continue to offer the best fresh chicken available anywhere.
